About

X Minecraft Launcher (XMCL) is a Minecraft launcher for setting up and managing separate game instances and their modded resources in one place. It installs Minecraft and loaders including Forge, Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge, and OptiFine, while keeping instances isolated and sharing resource files through links to reduce duplicated disk use. Players can browse modpacks and community projects from Modrinth, CurseForge, and FTB, import or export CurseForge and Modrinth modpacks, and organize installed mods with searches, groups, and dependency inspection. The launcher also manages resource packs, shader packs, and other modded-game resources, and supports Microsoft, offline, and third-party authentication options. Its peer-to-peer connection feature enables LAN multiplayer between users who are not on the same physical network.
