Build your own talents and level up by fighting monsters.

RPG Apocalypse Evolution adds a character-building and monster-progression system for adventure play, centered on combining talents and developing your own combat style. Players gain combat experience by defeating levelled monsters, earn talent points on level-up, and lose some combat experience on death; the world’s level rises over time, while monster levels and experience rewards respond to factors including player level and moon phase. Some levelled monsters become elites with personality talents or bosses, and defeating bosses awards extra experience and a talent fruit; creature health and, for elite or boss creatures, their talents can be inspected in-game. The mod also adds quality-rated items that can be identified with scrolls, plus a forging system that spends emeralds to improve equipment across ten weapon attributes, with higher-level forging carrying a greater failure risk. A skill system provides abilities such as stealth, night vision, fireballs, summoned puppets, and healing; skills can be learned, improved through use, and vary in mana cost and cooldown. Mercenary huts, hunter cabins, and pirate ships add new encounters, including recruitable mercenaries and hunters that can gain levels and experience, and desert sand bandits that appear at night when players carry gold ingots. Players can tailor parts of the experience through game rules and a configuration file, including starting talent points, level-monster generation, and whether animals or tamed creatures can become level monsters.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 24 blocks, 446 items, 19 mobs, 1 dimension, 22 recipes, 70 advancements, 10 loot tables, 2 sounds and 5 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
