Backrooms brings the liminal maze of the Backrooms into Minecraft as a survival-focused exploration experience, currently centered on Level 0, an endless yellow maze of empty hallways, abandoned rooms, and silent corridors. Lonely doors scattered throughout the world provide the only way to enter or leave, so finding an exit is part of surviving the maze. Mysterious hostile creatures hunt players in the Backrooms, turning exploration into a fight to stay alive. Loot chests can contain treasures like those found in Ancient Cities, mineshafts, and End Cities, and a very rare chest may hold the exclusive Suffocate enchantment for axes and the mace, which drives struck mobs into the ground until they escape or die.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Runs 40 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks and remove entities, items or data.
Changes world generation: 1 biome, 1 structure and 1 dimension.
Adds 1 enchantment, 1 advancement, 2 loot tables, 3 tags, 3 predicates and 1 more file in other folders.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
