Furnace Plus is a datapack that lets you upgrade furnaces to cook faster, use fuel more efficiently, and produce more items per cooking operation. Drop an ore block onto a furnace to set its speed tier: iron, gold, diamond, and netherite upgrades progressively reduce cooking time, while the creative-only bedrock tier cooks items in a fraction of a second. Blast furnaces and smokers receive the same speed improvements, with cooking times adjusted for their faster baseline. Fortune enchanted books multiply the number of items cooked, while Unbreaking books reduce fuel consumption, which otherwise rises with cooking speed. Breaking an upgraded furnace returns its items and ore-block upgrade, but not its enchantments by default; this behavior can be changed in the datapack configuration. The configuration also allows you to change rules such as whether speed, Fortune, and Unbreaking modifiers can drop.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Runs 74 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can remove entities, items or data.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 4 advancements, 6 tags and 1 predicate.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
