About
Hoffen's Bakery is a vanilla-plus datapack that adds 27 pastry recipes and wearable and utility cosmetics, bringing a baking theme to the game. Its pastries include alfajor, apple and berry pies, carrot cake, croissant, churro, concha, donut, éclair, empanada, fruit tart, macaron, mooncake, taiyaki and ginger cookie, alongside treats such as lava cake, Turkish delight and sugar cube. Some foods have special effects: chorusfruit pie and wienerbrod teleport the player a great distance, glowberry pie grants a brief Glowing effect, and sugar cube gives a short burst of Speed; hunger and saturation values vary across the recipes. Cosmetics include plain, floral and plaid hankerchief hats in 14 colors each, plus a white chef hat; these hats help prevent burning but do not prevent fire damage. The set also includes a baking whisk, a knockback baking pin and a custom bread bag. Players can obtain an illustrated Baking Cookbook by smelting a book, with recipe cards for obtainable items, and earn advancements for making a croissant, finding the cookbook, obtaining a hankerchief and crafting every pastry.
