Minecraft Chaos is a challenge datapack inspired by the GTA Chaos Mod, built around a large collection of random effects that disrupt a Minecraft run. Depending on the selected mode, effects arrive at intervals ranging from 15 seconds to several minutes and usually last for a shorter period, often around three minutes in the standard 60-second mode. Its effects range from spawning mobs, granting items, and generating structures to stranger hazards and rule changes, including an anvil apocalypse, making mobs spin, exploding mobs, landmines, blizzards, and lava showers. Players can enable Rapid Fire, which unleashes many short-lived effects in quick succession, or No Repeats, which keeps an effect out of the selection pool until the others have been used. A multiplayer voting mode lets spectators choose from polls of effects for the runner, with a random poll choice used to break ties. The settings also include presets for positive or negative effects, mob or player effects, speedrunning, and runs without teleportation or terrain modification, as well as options to disable individual effects.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Runs 1,262 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks, remove entities, items or data and change game or server settings.
Changes world generation: structures.
Adds 1 recipe, 8 advancements, 66 loot tables, 39 tags, 6 predicates and 25 more files in other folders.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

No known modpack uses it.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 6 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
