Moar Swords is a datapack that adds a large collection of craftable swords designed around distinct abilities and uses, rather than simple increases to attack stats. Its effects range from combat tricks such as the Chorus Sword’s random teleporting, the Shulker Sword’s levitation, and the Sticky Piston Sword’s pull, to situational weapons such as the Quartz Sword, which is powerful in the Nether, and the Prismarine Sword, which deals damage in water. Other swords offer utility or unusual interactions: the Bread Sword restores hunger when bitten, the Sponge Sword drains nearby water, the Ender Eye Sword reports the stronghold’s distance, and the Coal Sword places a torch when used to hit a mob in darkness. The collection also includes risky or destructive options, including the Cursed Sword and Cactus Sword, which can harm their wielder, and the TNT Sword, whose explosions can damage the world. Players can craft the swords using the pack’s Sword Crafter, with recipes also available in an in-game guide. The datapack is fully multiplayer compatible.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Runs 145 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks and remove entities, items or data.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 138 recipes, 4 advancements, 100 loot tables, 2 tags and 1 predicate.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
