About
Ocean Only Water World reshapes Overworld generation into an ocean-survival setting, raising the waterline so familiar biomes are submerged rather than limiting the world to ocean biomes. Its watery landscape still includes structures such as villages, ocean monuments, shipwrecks, pillager outposts, mansions, swamp huts, igloos, strongholds, and ruined portals, though desert and jungle pyramids do not generate. Villages and other landmarks can emerge above the water, including snowy, savanna, and plains villages, floating outposts, waterlogged witch huts, and mansions on the sea. The changed resource landscape is supported by underwater potions in many village chests, which provide 30 minutes of water breathing, and by recipes that let players reverse-craft ice, coral, and mushroom blocks. Coral, budding amethyst, ice variants, and mushroom blocks can be mined with simple tools, making key materials more accessible in the ocean-focused world. Players can adjust the sea level in the datapack's world-generation settings before creating a world, while the default spawn may still place them underwater or in an unsafe location.
