Lootable corpses keep your items together where you died.
No points lost.

Player Corpses replaces scattered death drops with a lootable body at the player’s death location, displaying the player’s skin and name and preserving their items for later recovery. Players can find a corpse and sneak nearby to retrieve their items, or use right-click looting when that option is enabled; recovered items can return to the slots they occupied at death. A death-coordinate chat message helps with recovery, and the Corpse Finder screen shows the coordinates of currently loaded corpses. Configuration options let players adjust behavior such as corpse despawning, owner-only looting, gore effects, whether corpses remain after looting, and whether they float in water or lava. If enabled, dying to a zombie replaces the corpse with a zombie wearing the player’s head and carrying their items, which must be recovered by killing it.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Runs 97 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can remove entities, items or data and change game or server settings.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 3 advancements, 2 loot tables, 11 tags and 20 predicates.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
