Rick & Mortys Portal Gun is a datapack that brings a Rick and Morty-inspired multiverse adventure to Minecraft, centered on a Portal Gun and 12 custom dimensions. Right-clicking with the Portal Gun creates a portal that sends you to a randomly selected dimension, where you can explore places including Froopyland, Chess World, Glass World, Desert World, Endless Forest, Bee World, the Doopidoo Dimension, the Abyss, and the Nether and End. The datapack also includes dimension globes, portal capsules and fluids, coordinate devices, gears, machinery, and utility items such as potion-effect hip flasks. Its encounters include the Council of Ricks and several shopkeeping characters: Tool Smith Rick, Bartender Rick, Cosmetic Rick, and Shady Rick. An accompanying resource pack supplies essential textures and audio assets for the datapack’s intended visual and audio experience.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Runs 210 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks and remove entities, items or data.
Changes world generation: terrain shape, 15 biomes, decorations such as trees and ores, 27 structures and 14 dimensions.
Adds 46 advancements, 20 loot tables, 13 tags, 64 predicates and 50 item modifiers.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
