Create fantasy-inspired Pokémon hybrids using the Fossil Machine.

Storybook Hybrids adds collectible Pokémon hybrids to Cobblemon, inspired by fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, mythology, folklore and fiction, which players create in the Fossil Machine using ingredient recipes. The roster includes Asudem, a Gardevoir-Arbok Gorgon; Swimelody, a Primarina-Wigglytuff Mermaid; Pixmini, a Fomantis-Butterfree Pixie; and hybrids drawing on creatures such as jackalopes, goblins, unicorns, the Fates, Anubis, griffins and the Will-o’-the-Wisp. Many hybrids develop into additional forms, with evolution methods including leveling, friendship, stones, and special actions such as using Moonlight and bone meal; the Sheetee line branches into several costume-themed evolutions. Some hybrids have distinctive interactions: several can be ridden, Romanticourt and Abductour can sit on a player’s shoulder or be worn as hats, and Mushup and Housoup can fill a bowl with soup. Players can also brush Mermadame’s hair, feed her Tropical Fish, dye Abductour in several colors, change Flufaxe’s axe using metal ingots, and use bone meal on Nobiseen and Rooticious. The addon adds a rare Mythical Pokémon, Storytella, found in a world structure; evolving Spewpa there yields a special Vivillon wing pattern.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Runs no function files.
Changes world generation: 2 structures.
Adds 2 sounds and 158 more files in other folders.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include [Cobblemon] Storybook Hybrids! in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
