Technical Enchant+ Renewed expands Minecraft’s enchanting system with 52 custom enchantments and five curses for armor, tools, and weapons, with further enchantments available through addons and compatibility for modded items through complements. Players build an enchanting setup by placing charged bookshelves around a vanilla enchanting table; five tiers unlock progressively stronger enchantments, change the table’s appearance with rotating lapis and additional visual effects, and affect charge capacity and costs. The enchantments add effects such as gravity-free arrows, explosive bow shots, cobweb-generating arrows, faster attacks, and life-stealing sword strikes, while curses can impose drawbacks such as tool fatigue, fear of nearby hostile mobs, or increased durability loss. A Technical Anvil lets players combine custom-enchanted books and gear, or extract enchantments from items; the grindstone can instead remove enchantments for an XP reward. The datapack also raises the maximum levels of 20 vanilla enchantments, including Efficiency VI, Looting IV, and Sharpness VII. Optional extensions can give hostile mobs enchanted gear, spawn them with custom-enchanted equipment, add custom books to vanilla structure chests, and allow Advanced Enchanters to trade custom enchantments and items.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Runs 1,537 function files: 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks and remove entities, items or data.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 193 advancements, 102 loot tables, 108 tags, 97 predicates and 177 item modifiers.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
