The Bracken Pack is a fantasy exploration datapack built around a multiverse of 11 dimensions, with more than 70 biomes, over 90 custom structures, and 12 playable species. Each realm has its own world generation and hazards, and players can reach many of them by travelling above the build limit or below bedrock, while some require more specific routes. Pax offers a peaceful, anti-PvP and anti-grief refuge with no hostile mobs, extra health, and The Arc, a gateway that can open routes to other dimensions. In contrast, the Faewilds is a hostile realm of floating islands and forests where players gain experience over time but face frequent monsters, while Faefolk villages offer trades for unique spawn eggs and other loot. The Underdark provides extensive ore-bearing caves and a passive Lost Miner, while icy Glacium features freezing water, beacon towers that inflict mining fatigue, and structures such as Snowman Village and the Giant Snowflake. Exploration also leads to challenging bosses with distinct attacks and rewards: the fire-wielding Solatium Thrall guards Dormis, the airborne Disruptor attacks with lasers and endermites, and Project Ruination fights in three phases within the Sanctum dungeon. The pack adds weapons, ability books, custom enchantments, and equipment, including bronze and silversteel gear, tridents made with brine materials, and verdant armor that grants extra health. It also includes additional crafting recipes for selected vanilla items and pack-made materials, such as turning zombie flesh into leather and crafting alloys used to upgrade diamond equipment.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Runs 1,143 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks and remove entities, items or data.
Changes world generation: terrain shape, 74 biomes, decorations such as trees and ores, 119 structures and 11 dimensions.
Adds 64 enchantments, 22 paintings, 286 recipes, 302 advancements, 554 loot tables, 100 tags, 1 loot table file, 191 predicates, 1 item modifier and 174 more files in other folders.
Replaces 17 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
