TreeCapitator is a data pack that makes wood gathering easier by felling a naturally generated tree when you break one of its logs. Depending on your settings, attached leaves are broken too, and logs can tip over in a fall animation. You can choose whether felling activates while standing, sneaking, or both, whether axes lose durability for felled logs, and which tree types each axe can fell; settings can also be locked server-wide by an operator. Nether trees are supported but disabled by default, and the default setup limits them to Netherite axes; the supported axe and tree combinations can be customized. Other data packs can register custom axes and trees for TreeCapitator to recognize, including custom log and leaf blocks.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Runs 91 function files: 1 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks, remove entities, items or data and change game or server settings.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 7 tags, 4 predicates, 1 item modifier and 1 more file in other folders.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
