About
A7 Armor Auras adds craftable aura charms that provide positive effects to the wearer or apply negative effects to nearby mobs and players, with the effect determined by the charm. Held charms create an aura within a configurable radius, while Inner Aura Charms apply a positive effect directly to the player. Charms can also be applied to armor in an anvil; those armor auras activate only while the player holds an Aura Activator, and duplicate effects cannot be combined on the same armor. Armor types can hold different numbers of charms, and both those capacities and the experience-level cost of applying a charm can be configured. Effects have fixed upgrade limits: Slowness, Weakness, Speed, and Resistance reach level 3; Poison, Wither, Strength, and Regeneration reach level 2; Nausea, Haste, and Luck reach level 1. Auras show colored particles around the player at the effect's maximum radius, while Inner Auras use enchanting-table-style particles at the player's feet. The mod includes recipes for its charms and activator, and these crafting recipes can be disabled in the configuration for modpacks or servers. Its items are designed as end-game content.
