Abomination is a creepypasta-inspired horror mod built around a stalking creature and a boss encounter, with jumpscares that may not suit players sensitive to them. The creature can appear in forests by day or night, may come after a configurable delay without first being provoked, and is limited to one entity at a time. It has 11 abilities, including matching the player's speed and attacking when it catches them looking in its direction. A boss altar at the coordinates −666, 64, −666 is activated with ancient debris, and activating it forms a boss arena. The mod also includes four structures: diced-tree variants and a netherrack pillar, as well as a strange hallway. Defeating the boss can yield a powerful weapon with a secondary ability, and the mod adds an armor piece whose abilities can interact with that weapon when both are used together. Configurable options let players adjust aspects of the experience.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 blocks, 12 items, 1 mob, 3 other entities, 13 sounds and 2 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
