About
Advanced Bow Enchantments is a mod that strengthens bow-focused playstyles, particularly in modpacks where ranged builds can lag behind melee or magic. It adds five enchantments: Enhanced Power, Fast Draw, Enhanced Fast Draw, Machine Draw, and Reality Fracture. Enhanced Power has five tiers that increase arrow damage from 200% to 300%, while Fast Draw and Enhanced Fast Draw speed up bow charging by up to 25% and 50%, respectively. Reality Fracture reduces the time entities remain invulnerable after being hit, reaching a 100% reduction at tier V. Machine Draw automatically fires fully charged arrows while right-click is held, and lets the player move freely while firing after the initial draw. Machine Draw, Fast Draw, and Reality Fracture are obtainable through standard methods such as villagers and enchanting, while the enhanced enchantments are upgraded through an anvil using catalysts and experience levels. The upgrade paths use distinct materials, including netherite ingots, echo shards, conduits, and dragon parts for Enhanced Power, and ghast tears, wither skeleton skulls, totems, shulker shells, and nether stars for Enhanced Fast Draw. Common configuration options let users adjust progression costs and catalysts, as well as the scaling of Enhanced Power and the draw-speed bonuses.
