    About

    Alternative Twilight changes Twilight Forest boss encounters to give players more to prepare for, adding new defenses, attacks, and phase mechanics to several familiar fights. The Naga gains damage reduction that can be canceled by destroying its head, while the Lich gains survival skills that make its later stages harder to defeat; the Minoshroom reduces damage from its current target, and the Hydra’s damage and defenses respond to player luck. The Ur-Ghast gains explosive attacks and a self-destruct effect, and Phantom Knights can counterattack, making them harder to kill by force. The Alpha Yeti can place powder snow, while the Snow Queen uses freezing traps to force players to keep moving; the mod also adds two foods that grant luck effects. Configuration options let players enable or disable individual boss changes, including those for the Naga, Lich, Minoshroom, Hydra, Phantom Knights, Ur-Ghast, Alpha Yeti, and Snow Queen.
