About
Ancient Beyond is a dimension-adventure mod built around unlocking sealed realms, defeating their rulers and collecting Dimensional Crystal Shards to restore peace. Its realms include worlds of clouds, fire, gemstones, curses, lightning, ice, corruption and sculk, where players can discover new ores and face dangerous creatures. In Struck of Lightning, defeating the Lords of Lightning yields Shards of Thunder, while the Frosted Realm’s Lords of Ice drop Shards of Ice; three matching shards can be crafted into a realm’s gem. Access to these realms involves crafting a themed key and using it on a portal: for example, the Key of Thunder opens a dense-copper portal, the Key of Ice a frosted-stone portal, and the Key of Gemstones an amethyst portal. As players master realms, they can claim their dominions in the style of the ancient rulers and ultimately craft a Dimensional Core.
