About
Animal Garden Prairie Dog adds tamable prairie dogs that spawn in plains and meadow biomes. Because they are omnivorous, prairie dogs can be tamed with any food item, then set to wander, rest in place, or follow their owner. A tamed prairie dog barks when a nearby mob is targeting its owner, while an untamed one panics when hit and avoids nearby entities. Every five to ten minutes, a prairie dog on the ground has a chance to dig up an item; the possible items can be customized through the mod's item tag data or a resource pack. Untamed prairie dogs are diurnal and sleep at night, and configurable spawn limits can help prevent too many from appearing in one area.
