    About

    Antique Shotgun expands Minecraft’s ranged combat with shotguns, specialized ammunition, and a new illager enemy for raids. Players can craft a slow, inaccurate handmade shotgun that may misfire or jam, then cut it down into a two-shot sawed-off with wide spread that can be used in the offhand. Its ammunition offers distinct combat tradeoffs: slugs are accurate and long-ranged but expensive, handmade shells are unreliable and weak, buckshot is a more dependable upgrade, and rubber shells sacrifice damage for strong knockback, weakness, and slowness. The Elder Huntsman joins raids armed with Ol’ Betsy, a rare shotgun found through endgame loot such as bastion chests; it has faster cycling and reloading, tighter spread, and greater durability than the handmade weapon. A Brute enchantment adds stock-strike melee damage and knockback, while configuration options let players adjust weapon range, spread, damage, misfires, loot, and several other combat settings.
