Arcadia Pets adds a collectible companion system to servers, with pets obtained from crates found in structure chests and mob drops, as well as from dungeon and boss loot. Pets have six rolled stats, species-linked skills and levels; feeding treats raises skills up to level 10, while higher rarities can unlock more skill slots. The collection spans seven rarities, from Common to Arcane, including Mythic staff pets and custom Arcane creatures such as Zyrra, Vaelryn, Nyssara and Magmara; Arcane pets have maximum stats and signature skills. Summon a pet to follow beside you as a real entity or appear on your shoulder in Pocket mode, and build its bond by keeping it with you to unlock riding and, for flyers, flight. Rideable pets can be ground, aquatic or flying mounts, with speed shaped by Agility and flight stamina by Endurance; the Ender Dragon is among the available mounts. Combine five pets of the same rarity to guarantee a pet of a higher tier, and challenge other players to turn-based duels using a team of three pets, with an ELO ranking and optional coin wagers. The collection also includes a compendium of species, skills and chromas, a pedestal that displays a floating pet, and more than 75 achievements with coin rewards. Players can unlock three looks per pet with rare Chroma Gems and inspect stats, skills, names and appearance through the pet panel. Server administrators can configure rarity weights, stats, mob pools, drop rates, mounts and bond rates, and access operator tools for crate distribution and pet recovery.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 2 blocks, 11 items, 1 mob, 3 other entities, 3 recipes, 54 advancements and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
One of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 4 of its 5 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Arcadia Pets in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 8 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 5 points.
