Arky’s Aesthetics expands vanilla-style Minecraft with quality-of-life changes to familiar mechanics alongside new building, exploration, combat, and food content. Flower pots hold more flowers, bone meal fertilizes sugar cane, cactus, lily pads, vines, and nether wart, and using a composter, cake, or bottles of enchanting can consume or use multiple items from your hand at once. Breaking a cake now drops cake pieces, hidden paintings can be obtained, and Soul Dust made from soul sand and soul soil can oxidize copper blocks. Building additions include carved wood with mob textures, bark blocks, stripped mushroom blocks, fallen leaves, new chains and lanterns, and decorative blocks made from several colored fire types. The plant additions include blue roses, pink daisies, buttercups, glowing torchflowers, moonflower vines for sniffer gardens, and cherry trees that yield cherries; the mod also adds many flower varieties, mosses, and decorative ground-cover blocks. New equipment includes shulker caps that grant levitation immunity, studded leather armor, plate armor with a chance to ignore damage, and a Farlands Dagger that dashes forward and can be customized with four dash-focused enchantments. Bismuth is a rare End ore found in large amethyst clusters, used for durable tools and weapons, a greatsword upgrade, and armor trims; the mod also adds bismuth lanterns and other blocks. Guardian spikes can serve as weapons or traps, while food-treated elder guardian spikes transfer food effects to enemies; related additions include spiked armor and shields that return damage. Redstone fire can ignite redstone blocks, and its flames can cause a bugging effect that summons redstone bugs; the bugs eat redstone wire, alter its appearance, and can reproduce after consuming enough wire. Other redstone and building features include mechanical casings that emit a signal when fitted with matching materials, a switch for turning off some glowing blocks, and sculkbone blocks generated in the Deep Dark. A basin removes armor trims using crystallized honey, while the Stardust Forge repairs or enchants items without the usual anvil repair-cost escalation, using experience levels and bismuth ingots. Scent candles provide effects in an eight-block radius, with options including night vision, speed, jump boost, luck, poison, and haste. Later additions include ocean-dwelling sea urchins in blue, red, and poisonous purple varieties, their throwable spines and venom glands, immunity-granting sea urchin bowls, and sea urchin lamps. The mod also adds bee-themed armor, roots and mosses that generate in forests, and Netherbahrean moss in the Nether.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1,099 blocks, 127 items, 2 mobs, 4 enchantments, 1,891 recipes, 44 advancements and 7 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Arky's Aesthetics in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 5 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 4 points.
