Armor Restitched refreshes Minecraft’s armor and damage systems while adding new equipment, materials, enchantments, trim effects, and ways for villagers and mobs to wear armor. Its additional armor sets include copper, cotton, fur, linen, silk, wool, and paper; copper armor reduces lightning damage, while the textile sets provide alternatives to the usual early-game rush for iron. Cotton comes from wild plants in jungles and flax for linen grows in temperate biomes; both are processed with a Scutcher, while fur comes from certain mobs and silk is extracted from cocoons found in Dark Forest mulberry trees. Silk production also involves Silk Moths, which hatch from cocoons in low light and can lay new eggs on mulberry leaves. Armor values and damage intake are reworked, with more protection per armor point and increased toughness and knockback resistance for metal armor; enchantments are adjusted too, and Elytra gain an armor point and can receive Protection enchantments. New treasure enchantments include Impact Protection, which mitigates collisions and falling anvils or stalactites, and Soaring, which increases Elytra flight speed and is found in loot or through a special recipe. Armor trims gain material-specific effects: amethyst can briefly regenerate the wearer and nearby allies while distracting hostile mobs, copper responds to lightning, diamond increases toughness, emerald strengthens villager reputation modifiers, gold improves enchantability, iron can prevent durability loss, lapis boosts experience gains, netherite improves knockback resistance, quartz grants an effect in low sky light, and redstone extends status effects and responds to redstone power. Elytra can also be trimmed, gaining armor and toughness, and the mod supplies custom Elytra trim designs. Villagers can be actively equipped with armor, and a new Dresser profession trades in cotton and linen; Leatherworkers, Shepherds, and Armourers also have revised trades and may dress fellow villagers in suitable gear. Mob equipment is adjusted according to world and local difficulty, Illagers can wear armor, and horse armor can be used on Skeleton and Zombie Horses; lightning is also more damaging and variable. Frost Walker gains practical uses beyond crossing water: it can extinguish fire, cool lava, and function while riding a vehicle.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
