Arte Magicum adds a customizable Arcane progression system to Electroblob's Wizardry, where successfully casting spells builds knowledge separately for each element, increases spell potency, and unlocks higher spell tiers while making further progress more difficult. At high mastery, players can earn an elemental blessing with distinct active and passive abilities, each carrying both benefits and drawbacks; progression, difficulty, and other system features can be adjusted or disabled through configuration. The mod adds female and young wizards, wandering wizards, and magical events including duels between wizards, group duels, and groups of angry wizards. World additions include spirits that drop random Spectral Dust, naturally spawning phoenixes and ice giants, and villagers who may become wizards; chopping trees can also summon an attacking Nature Spirit that drops wood. Elemental bosses can appear as existing modded or unmodded bosses, gaining attacks based on their element, and magic circles add particle effects. The mod also includes tools to reset progression and difficulty or remove a blessing, using separate nullifying elixirs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 5 items, 10 mobs, 8 other entities, 7 recipes and 4 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
