AutoEat is a client-side mod that automatically eats when hunger falls to a configurable threshold, helping players keep mining, fighting, exploring, and building without stopping to eat. It can optionally eat until full and selects from permitted foods by weighing nutrition, saturation, hunger waste, and current health, with a panic mode that favors premium foods when health is low. Controls let players allow or block individual foods, including dangerous choices such as rotten flesh, pufferfish, and spider eyes, and adjust how golden foods are used or saved for emergencies. After switching from a sword, tool, block, or other hotbar item to food, AutoEat can restore the previous slot while respecting manual slot changes; it can also prioritize offhand food. Optional pause and safety rules help it fit different activities: it can pause after damage or during combat, manual item use, sprinting, swimming, or menus, and provides fishing, riding, underwater, and hostile-mob safeguards. Players can start with presets such as Safe Survival, Combat, Explore, AFK Safe, and AFK Fishing, or tune hunger triggers, food choices, safety rules, and delays in the settings interface. The mod works with compatible vanilla and modded foods, runs without server installation, and is designed for use alongside other mods and modpacks.

Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
