    About

    Bake Your Bread adds preparation steps to familiar non-meat foods: breads, cookies, cakes and pumpkin pie must be baked, while beetroot soup, mushroom stew and rabbit stew must be cooked before they can be eaten. Making these foods requires water or milk, and baking or cooking them in a furnace, smoker or over a campfire grants experience. The mod also introduces intermediate foods such as bread dough, cookie dough and uncooked soup, which players can try eating but may cause food-poisoning effects. Carrots are part of the cooking system too: fully grown crops can drop raw carrots, which can be cooked into carrots with the nutrition and saturation of their familiar counterparts.
