Ore detectors help you find valuable blocks without digging everywhere.
66.6 of the 71 points that apply = 94 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Balanced Ore Detector adds configurable tools for finding ores through sound-based prospecting, helping players locate deposits without revealing their exact type and coordinates or scanning the whole world. When used against a solid surface, a detector sends out three bangs whose echoes vary in volume and return time with distance; pitch and particles can also help indicate what kind of block was detected. Each detector comes in basic and focused forms, with the focused version using a narrower beam that is more effective for ore prospecting but costs more, and all detectors have limited uses. The Void Detector responds to non-solid blocks such as air, water and lava; the Coal Detector is tuned to coal, copper, iron and quartz, while the Iron Detector also finds gold, redstone and lapis but not coal. The Gold Detector is broader, detecting iron, gold, redstone, lapis, diamonds and emeralds, while the Diamond Detector targets diamonds, emeralds and Nether ancient debris; every major feature can be configured in Mod Menu. With Tech Reborn, the Coal and Iron Detectors also detect galena, tin, lead, ruby and sapphire, with silver and bauxite added to the Iron Detector; the Gold Detector detects silver and iridium, and the Diamond Detector detects iridium, pyrite, cinnabar, sphalerite, tungsten, sheldonite, peridot and sodalite. With Applied Energistics 2, the Coal and Iron Detectors can also find certus quartz.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
Adds 10 items, 10 recipes and 21 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
