BBS CML is a fork of BBS that focuses on making it easier to create animated content in Minecraft, with workflow and quality-of-life improvements for animators. Its redesigned film editor supports customizable layouts and timeline clips for camera effects and hotbar changes, alongside hierarchical limb tracks and controls for PBR effects. A grid-style form selector displays small previews of models and lets users hide categories, while the built-in addon system supports extensions such as AAAddon, Photon Addon, and FBX Addon. The project includes model, geometry, texture, and UV editing tools, with live bone mirroring, interactive UV mapping, and support for glTF and Mine-imator models. Animations can use forms for structures, shapes, and fluids, and can capture in-game audio or play back with first-person view bobbing. Replay and actor tools add features such as dynamic hitboxes, randomized skins for selected replays, interactions with chests, and actors that can drop items when they die. Additional animation controls include procedural item-use poses, body-part and bone Look At settings, and the ability to anchor parts of one model to another. Users can export and import BBS projects, and configure model geometry and appearance through in-game editing panels.

Adds 10 blocks, 1 sound and 13 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends your player ID and unknown data
Sent to sessionserver.mojang.com and an address built while the game runs.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code and text
The author declares AI code and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
The author says it uses AI in the game
The author declares AI features on Modrinth.
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with BBS CML: their authors or BBS CML's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as BBS CML, so you only need one.
Modpacks that include BBS CML in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 12 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 5 points.
