BBS FS is a fork of the discontinued BBS mod, focused on making animation creation inside Minecraft more capable and easier to manage rather than serving as an all-purpose content-creation toolkit. Its overhauled film editor organizes work around a configurable, dockable layout and a timeline with tracks, clips, keyframes, interpolation, motion paths, and replay controls. Animations can be edited per limb, with separate tracks for character bones and tabs for player, model, and pose keyframes; pose keyframes can also be converted into limb tracks. For posing models, the form editor includes inverse kinematics with targets and bone constraints, plus bone physics with stiffness settings and tracks for adjusting targets during a film. The integrated texture editor supports brush-size adjustment, layers and layer operations, and material-specific texture tracks; the model editor can create models from scratch, edit cubes and their hierarchy, and configure UV layouts. The tools also cover recording and replaying action: hotbar slots are captured on separate tracks, and first-person playback can reproduce actions such as drawing a bow, eating, or throwing a trident.

Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends unknown data
Sent to an address built while the game runs.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code and text
The author declares AI code and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with BBS FS: their authors or BBS FS' author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as BBS FS, so you only need one.
Modpacks that include BBS FS in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
