About
Bee Better expands bee-related gameplay with liquid honey, new hive types, beeswax, and bee stingers. Honey is available as a fluid block and in a bucket, so players can swim in it. Shearing a hive full of honey yields beeswax flakes alongside honeycomb; the wax can be compressed or crafted into a block. Bees can drop stingers, which serve as a primitive weapon and are tied to an advancement. Beehives can be made from any wood type, including wood added by other mods, while Bee Bricks function as single-bee hives that create a new bee each day when none is inside or nearby. Hives can also be upgraded to Apiaries, which hold twice as many bees and twice as much honey as wooden hives.
