Berries and Mobs brings newer Minecraft-style content and original additions into a package designed to fit the game’s vanilla feel. Its world additions include cattails and reeds along waterways, swamp mangroves, ocean ruins, pillager outposts and ships, and Nether biomes with distinctive trees, plants, and blocks. Cave exploration expands with dripstone, lush, ice, and other new cave biomes, including dynamic icicles, while the oceans gain seagrass, coral, and fish such as bream, queen snapper, and the darkness-dwelling Shadow fish. The added creatures include goats, ostriches that hide their heads in dirt at night, red pandas that gather blueberries and roots, sharks that can drag nearby players underwater, and honey creepers that drop crystallized honey when they explode. Drowned can arise when zombies die in water, pillagers appear at outposts and ships, and piglins can be traded with, with crossbow-wielding piglins becoming hostile to unarmored players on contact. New equipment and interactions include several crossbows with different firing and knockback traits, a copper wrench for rotating blocks, and an amethyst artefact that briefly grants peaceful sight, which calms certain hostile or skittish creatures. Other additions include Minecraft Dungeons-inspired blocks and weapons, mud and mud bricks, glowing lichen, powdered snow, backported achievements, and utility features such as bonemealing sand, gravel, and dirt to grow plants.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 311 blocks, 60 items, 67 entities, 91 recipes, 6 advancements, 1 loot table and 69 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
