About
Better Armor expands Minecraft’s armor and equipment options with armor made from Malachite, glass, and obsidian, alongside the Armor of Life and a range of hammers. Malachite is rare and difficult to craft, and its armor is described as stronger than diamond but weaker than obsidian; glass armor is crafted from Malachite and offers roughly diamond-level protection with greater durability. Obsidian armor is stronger than diamond and grants fire resistance, allowing its wearer to swim in lava without taking damage immediately. The easy-to-obtain Armor of Life is not very durable and is intended to provide a substantial boost for a short time. Hammers range from stone to Malachite: stone hammers are for mining, while iron-through-Malachite hammers can also be used in crafting recipes.
