Better Tools and Armor expands Minecraft’s equipment and crafting progression with more than 500 items, over 120 blocks, six new ores, and 25 tool and armor sets, emphasizing exploration and different equipment choices. The new ores span the Overworld, Nether, and End: Mixed Ore yields a random resource, Ruby gear offers fast attacks and mining, Sapphire weapons can freeze enemies, Topaz weapons chain lightning between nearby mobs, Nether Diamond gear brings fire-related effects, and Ender Titanium equipment has abilities tied to the End. Underground Crystallite clusters provide gems for equipment more powerful than Netherite, and each piece can be switched among 16 elemental upgrades at a Smithing Table while retaining its enchantments; examples include a magnetic pickaxe that draws in drops, a vein-mining pickaxe, climbing leggings, and a sword that grows stronger with consecutive hits. Crystallite also enables an upgradeable bow, with options such as homing arrows, faster firing, piercing shots, or explosive arrows. Daggers provide a faster-attacking, easier-to-craft alternative to swords, with lower damage and durability, and every tool set, including vanilla sets, has a dagger counterpart. Standalone Effect Armor grants abilities such as Night Vision, Strength, Speed, or Invisibility, powered by an equipped Energy Vial that also lets players toggle the effects; the armor can be upgraded to improve its potion effects. Other additions include passive-buff Charms, 13 potions with effects such as Double Jump, Swift Swim, and Ore Vision, and one-use utility potions that can teleport players to their spawn point or last death location. New building options include metal blocks in 20 colours, each with slab, stair, wall, and trapdoor variants, as well as additional beacon bases. The mod also adds the Jeweller villager, who trades Crystallite upgrade templates and Charms, and 85 advancements ranging from progression milestones to completionist goals. Smaller changes include Bark from stripped logs, which can be crafted into early-game Wooden Armor or used to restore stripped logs, and new recipes for some vanilla items.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
