BOB THE TOOLBOX is a story-driven horror and building experience inspired by LookOut’s series, in which Bob guides players through building lessons and resource-gathering objectives as danger grows. Players complete construction challenges with different woods and building materials, including crawlspace and basement builds, by placing requested blocks and collecting required resources. Bob provides instructions and materials, has normal, talking, and crushed appearances, and watches nearby players, reacting when they approach; players can also pick him up, carry him in their inventory, and place him back in the world. As the campaign progresses, Bob warns players about The Visitor, who hides in a nearby location when a visitation begins. Players have ten seconds to find The Visitor: success makes it flee, while failure leads to a deadly chase in which it can pursue players, climb, and break through certain obstructions. The campaign has multiple story stages with different rewards and outcomes, includes timed visitation events, and supports multiplayer. Original voice lines and sound effects contribute to the experience.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 item, 2 entities and 41 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
