    About

    Boiled One: Unleashed adds a stalking entity called the Boiled One, which appears near the player in the Overworld or Nether after a Broadcast Interference event. It initially watches from a distance, but may turn aggressive if approached or looked at; maintaining eye contact from more than five blocks keeps it from moving, so looking away can leave the player vulnerable. Looking at the entity can inflict Boiled One Syndrome, a three-stage condition that can progress from uneventful stalking to slowness, weakness, mining fatigue and, finally, paralysis as the Boiled One appears nearby and kills the player. Milk or a Christian Bible can clear the syndrome, and the Bible can also kill the Boiled One when used within ten blocks, though the book is consumed. Broadcast Interference and the entity’s spawning behavior can be adjusted with gamerules, including options to disable the event or enable spawning directly.
