Fire burns through trees and wooden buildings, leaving useful materials.

Burnt enhances Minecraft’s vanilla fire by making ignited blocks smolder, blaze, spread and burn instead of simply disappearing, leaving wooden structures and trees charred and twisted with usable resources. Fires can start from flint and steel, flame-enchanted arrows, fire barrels, creeper explosions, lava or lightning, and their spread is shaped by wind and biome conditions, with hot, dry areas tending to burn more intensely than cold, wet ones. The mod adds smoke, embers, ash and distant plumes, while flags show wind direction; rain dampens fire spread, and iron golems help fight village fires. Players can manage fires with a discoverable or craftable fire extinguisher and wind charges, and settings let them adjust fire behavior and smoke density. Burning wood spreads gradually, with dark oak slower still and downward spread through common wooden building parts reduced, so roof fires are less likely to consume an entire structure. Fire also changes the surrounding landscape: it melts snow, ice melts into water outside the Nether, and bonemeal can restore burnt grass to recovering grass and then ordinary grass. Server operators can keep fires out of claimed chunks or mark protected regions without a claim mod, including spawn areas, shared builds and event spaces. An editable block-mappings datapack lets users define how blocks from other mods burn, and the mod includes compatibility behavior for Quark, Terralith, Cold Sweat, TerraFirmaCraft, Nature’s Spirit and Regions Unexplored.

No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
The file checks found no code that connects to the internet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
