Cliff under a Branch is a vanilla-styled world-generation datapack that reworks the Overworld with new biomes and terrain while retaining a familiar Minecraft feel. It adds biomes across different climates and landscapes, including rocky Tundra, cold Bog, Sparse Forest, Basalt Shores, and the warm Oasis, where bright grass grows above lush caves and camels may appear. Existing biomes also receive distinctive changes: Savanna Plateaus gain terracotta bands, Pale Gardens can form at more elevations with moss-covered oaks and heavier fog, and Mushroom Fields gain raised terrain, muddy areas, and a surrounding Stone Ocean with stone spikes. Terrain generation includes pillars among mountain ranges, rivers that cut into mountains to form openings and caves, and deeper ocean trenches lined with basalt and magma. The pack adjusts water, fog, sky colors, and biome lighting, adds temperature-specific river types, and gives caves more fog and, in some biomes, differently colored block light. Temperature-based cave biomes keep surface biomes from extending far underground, while more spaghetti caves make underground routes more connected; examples include frosted Frozen Caves and magma-rich Inferno Caves. Other gameplay changes include biome-specific shifts in some mob spawn rates, saplings growing into characteristic shapes found in the world, and nights that grow darker according to the moon cycle.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 222 of vanilla Minecraft's world generation files, 11 other data files, 4 tags and 2 loot tables.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Cliff under a Branch (CliffBranch) in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
