    About

    Colds: Mobile Beacon adds a portable beacon item, obtained from a Beacon Case that can drop when you hit mobs; opening the case costs 30 experience levels. The beacon grants effects based on your player level, progressing from abilities at level 1 through Speed, Haste, Resistance, Jump Boost, Strength, Water Breathing, Fire Resistance, Void Step, Safe Fall, and Night Vision; at higher levels, stronger versions replace several earlier buffs, and Conduit Power replaces Water Breathing. Void Step returns you to your last safe position if you fall into the void, while Safe Fall prevents fall damage. The beacon also has six selectable use abilities: Ender Throw, Light Throw, Explosive Throw, Self Heal, Off Hand Repair, and Poison Throw; they cost experience to use and can be cycled by crouching and right-clicking. These abilities respectively mimic an Ender Pearl without fall damage, summon a beacon light on impact, explode on impact, heal two hearts, repair 20% of the item in your off hand, and poison living entities; Ender Throw can spawn Endermites. The gallery shows the Mobile Beacon tab and its maximum-level buffs.
