    About

    Create Kinetic is an addon for Create Aeronautics and VS2 that adds practical blocks and items intended to improve ship building and control while keeping the additions focused. For ship control, a joystick lets players steer with mouse movement and can be used alongside a nearby typewriter, while ship helms provide a way to steer without a redstone controller. Movement and stability options include electrical- or fuel-powered thrusters, including directional variants, a reaction wheel that helps keep fast-spinning contraptions upright, and dyeable belt treads for vehicles. Retractable sails and sail pulleys provide ship propulsion, and ship totems can recall a runaway ship when renamed to match it. Ship utility blocks include redstone-powered anchors, buoys, ballast and adjustable tank ballast, plus horizontal rudders for steering and vertical rudders for moving up or down. Other additions include a frequency filter for keeping redstone-link signals distinct, an analog gearshift that varies shaft speed by signal strength, an upward- or downward-projecting beam lantern, and compact redstone blocks for conjunction, inversion and crossing signals.
