Cryofloric Arts is a Minecraft mod inspired by the Younger Dryas event and its impact hypothesis, adding frost-themed plants, creatures, items, structures, effects, and world-changing mechanics. Its central plant, the Icepetal Dryadbloom, spreads in cold regions and can transform in darkness into Snowfall Taro, an edible crop that becomes Rooted Snowfall Taro when baked; near water, it can grow into aquatic Frigid Grass that slows and freezes entities. Eating Rooted Snowfall Taro grants Frost Powder, an effect that can cause Icepetal Dryadblooms to grow near creatures that die while affected and can raise the effect’s level; at high levels, Frost Powder can lead to Over-Rooting, which restores health over time but prevents affected entities from attacking one another. These effects feed into Frost Dust, a value carried by each infected chunk: as it rises to 10,000, the land transforms into the White Barrens, where continuous snow, gray grass and water, and creatures made of Icepetal Dryadbloom define the biome. The White Barrens is home to the Frostfall Bee, which attacks nearby hostile creatures and is resistant to powder snow, and the Blindfrost Beast, which coats nearby unlooted chests with slime that afflicts players who open them; players affected by Over-Rooting can offer it Rooted Snowfall Taro to obtain slime for coating containers. Underground ruins contain ancient creatures, traps, treasures, and Dryas Ice Petals, while creatures wearing Patterned Armor can be found in various locations and may spread the petals when killed. Other additions include the Frostfall Trident, which leaves an effect-applying cloud when thrown, and detectors that reveal a chunk’s Frost Dust through texture changes or a displayed value. The mod also adds three crops for Snow-Ornamented Farmland: Sweet Curling Grass, which quickly restores health and grants Frost Powder; Salt Crystal Bean, which fertilizes nearby growable blocks; and Winter Thorn, which restores hunger while applying Frosted and Frost Powder. An advancement system guides progression, and JEI can be used to view recipes and information for the added items.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its text
The author declares AI text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

No known modpack uses it.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 12 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
