    Darg adds corruption-themed content to Minecraft, including a corrupted plains biome with its own soundtrack, corrupted versions of vanilla mobs, and decorative blocks made using corrupted fire. Its creatures and encounters include goblins, trolls, dwarves, moglings and zorbig, plus bosses such as Medusa, Katsu, Varzak, Wolfyre, Manatone and Exheristaff, with themed locations including Medusa’s temple, Katsu’s dojo, Varzak’s lair and Wolfyre’s den. Moglings can be fed to produce loot, with rarer varieties offering better rewards; paleontologist moglings can also be given fossil chunks, and gold-laying chickens sometimes produce gold or, more rarely, gold blocks. Exploration and crafting add two ores, new crafting blocks and items, including the lifesteal sword Kizutsu, Varzak’s strength-granting crown, Medusa’s eye for crafting enchantments, and staffs that grant night vision or resistance. Corrupted essence is obtained from corrupted zombies in the corrupted plains and can be smelted into corrupted fire, which is used in crafting but burns its holder unless contained in a bucket.
