Explore new desert biomes with dangerous creatures and useful gear.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Desert Extension expands desert exploration with new biomes, structures, creatures, and equipment. Its new regions include the dangerous Wasteland, the coal- and obsidian-rich Charred Desert, and the forested Fertile Desert, where large bugs roam. Desert fortresses offer challenges and rewards, with defensive turrets and bomb-throwing illagers guarding them; the Desert Blade and explosive Boom Stick can also be found there. The Wasteland is home to aggressive juvenile basilisks, boss basilisks that drop rattles, and fast, hard-hitting raiders, including especially dangerous black raiders. Other desert creatures include crawler scouts, chargers that accelerate when they spot players, and tanky crawler tanks; passive bearded dragons can be tamed, while sandbulls can be ridden. Cactus merchants trade with players, including for desert berries, and accept basilisk rattles and desert gems; the rattles can also be used to craft the Spitfire weapon. The mod adds cactus tools and armor, chitin armor crafted from crawler tank drops, and shurikens dropped by black raiders.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.1.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 blocks, 40 items, 16 mobs, 3 biomes, 14 recipes, 3 advancements and 1 sound.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
