About
Dragon Mounts Datapack lets players hatch the Ender Dragon egg into a pet dragon that grows up and can eventually be ridden. The egg is crafted from a Dragon Egg, an Eye of Ender, and an Echo Shard, then hatches after three in-game days; feeding the baby dragon fish speeds its growth, and it becomes an adult after two more in-game days. The egg’s placement biome determines its dragon type: Forest dragons hatch in forests, Water dragons in oceans or rivers, Ice dragons in snowy or icy biomes, and Fire dragons in caves when surrounded by lava; the project describes five variants overall.
