A D&D-inspired RPG mod with mobs, structures, classes and a lot more.
51 of the 71 points that apply = 72 out of 100.
Dungeons, Creatures and Classes brings Dungeons & Dragons-inspired classes, creatures, gear and exploration to Minecraft, using real-time rather than turn-based combat. After creating a world and each time they die, players choose a class through a GUI; classes have distinct stats and starting equipment, and unlock abilities and extra hearts through XP progression. The Bard fights with instruments that trigger special effects and supports allies, the Barbarian specializes in durable close combat, and the Magician casts long-range spells with a custom spellbook. D&D creatures include Orcs and Ogres found around loot-bearing camps, plus Owlbears that roam forests and mountains; additional additions include Bullywugs, Bullywug Knights, Bullywug Tadpoles and Redcaps. Exploration features include goblin camps and huts, orc camps, the Adamantium Shrine, and Feywild content such as a Feywild Swamp and a Redcap Tree; a pre-built portal structure provides access to the Feywild. The mod adds D&D-style weapons ranging from daggers to greatswords, which can be upgraded to Adamantium using an upgrade found at the rare Adamantium Shrine. Coins found in structures or obtained through villager trading serve as currency for special items and upgrades. The Feywild content also includes spell scrolls for every spell, while a Paladin is among the available classes.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 27 blocks, 206 items, 43 entities, 2 biomes, 1 dimension, 11 structures, 62 recipes, 16 advancements, 10 loot tables, 2 sounds and 12 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Dungeons, Creatures and Classes (DnD) in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
