Control each sound's volume and how often it plays.
51.4 of the 58 points that apply = 89 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Enhanced Sound Control lets players manage individual Minecraft sounds from a searchable menu, adjusting each sound’s volume from 0% to 200% and its playback frequency to reduce repetitive effects without necessarily muting them. The menu includes a live Recent Sounds feed with play counts, a searchable catalogue filterable by sound category, and an Edited list for reviewing or resetting changes; each sound can also be previewed with its adjusted volume, and changes save automatically. Silent Mode reverses the usual approach by muting sounds by default and letting players allow only selected sounds, while keeping its allowed-sound list separate from Normal mode’s edits. For Hypixel SkyBlock, players can set sound volume and frequency overrides for individual islands, copy settings to other islands, and use island-specific allow or mute choices in Silent Mode; the overrides apply on that island while Everywhere values remain in effect elsewhere.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: SoundChanges 1 game code file in this area: playing sounds, music and the sound engine..
Libraries packed inside it change 4 more game code files: HM Api and
MidnightLib.
Adds 2 key bindings: Open Sound Control Menu and Extra key to hold, when Require modifier key option is enabled.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code and text
The author declares AI code and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
