Ex Nihilo 2 is a skyblock mod focused on making resources renewable in a void-world survival map. Its built-in map templates include a default based on Skyblock 2.1 and options for the three original Ex Nihilo maps, and players can create and share JSON templates for the Overworld, Nether, and End or export a map with the Jade Astrolabe. Players can configure JSON recipes for composting, hammering, and sifting, including disabling the built-in recipes to start with their own. Composting produces materials such as dirt, coarse dirt, podzol, grass, and mycelium, while rain can provide water and help make clay; barrels also turn skulls in water into slime, redstone in lava into netherrack, and glowstone in lava into end stone. Hammers break cobblestone into gravel, sand, and dust, sieves process blocks for drops, and crooks help move mobs and animals while improving drops from leaves and grass. Crucibles melt cobblestone into lava over heat sources, and weather or nearby water can encourage mushrooms to grow from mycelium and moss on cobblestone or stone bricks. Further resource chains include making Black Emeralds and blasting them into diamonds, crafting porcelain buckets for water and lava, and using spores to produce witchwater or turn cows into mooshrooms; witchwater can then be used to make metal salts and azoth. The mod also supports VeinMiner registration for crooks, hammers, and relevant blocks, and provides Waila tooltips for sieves, barrels, and crucibles.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8 to 1.8.9.
Adds 36 blocks and 35 items.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8 to 1.8.9.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8 to 1.8.9.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
