    About

    Expanded Caves diversifies Minecraft’s underground with vanilla-style additions designed to blend into the game. Its cave flora includes Sweetshrooms, Goldishrooms, Shinyshrooms, Lumishrooms, Fluoshrooms and Rockshrooms, alongside dry, fire, frozen and humid moss and hanging roots. The mushrooms have distinct uses: some provide food or haste effects, while Lumishrooms and Fluoshrooms emit light, and Fluoshrooms and Rockshrooms are used in stews. New stone types include sediment stone, lavastone, dirtstone and marlstone; vanilla stone types can also form small or tall stalagmites and stalactites. Caves gain decorative pebbles and rockpiles, with stone decorations also yielding stackable pebbles that can be arranged into small piles. The mod’s additions can be disabled or adjusted through configuration.
