About
EXTREME CORE is a combat-focused mod built around challenging boss fights, active skills, and defensive equipment. Its encounters include Blood Zombie, Blood Lich, End Phoenix, Fallen Angel Of Ashened, Existence Of Beyond, Lord, and Reaper, each with a distinct attack style such as ranged magic, wide-area strikes, sword energy, continuous dashes, or grabs. Bosses are summoned using crafted items, including Imperfect Core for Blood Zombie, Blood Heart for Blood Lich, Phoenix Egg for End Phoenix, Heart Of Heaven for Fallen Angel Of Ashened, Other Side for Existence Of Beyond, Lord Assassination for Lord, and Hollow Heart for Reaper. The mod also reworks the Wither, and that overhaul can be disabled in the configuration. Combat tools include a dash with invincibility frames, cooldown-based damage nullification, revive and life-regeneration accessories, custom damage reduction, and high-risk, high-return gear. Boss attacks can deal damage proportional to a target's maximum health, so the intended approach emphasizes movement and active defenses rather than simply absorbing hits. Configuration options let players adjust boss health, damage, and attack cooldown through scaling multipliers, as well as toggle features such as damage caps, damage stacking, and boss despawning.
