Adds minimalist parts for expanding vanilla redstone automation, and many other things.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Factorization expands vanilla redstone automation with a kit of machinery and programmable parts for building complex contraptions. Its processing and handling components include stampers, packagers, mixers, compression crafting, parasieves and barrels, alongside socket-mounted tools such as robotic arms, item shifters, screw pumps, lacerators and pressurizers. Machines can support flexible item crafting and transfer: the Packager tries recipes in a 3×3 grid before a 2×2 grid, while the configurable Item Shifter can move selected quantities on redstone pulses or stream items while powered. Other automation parts include a Block Matcher that signals when blocks at its two ends match, and servos that use stored instructions, subroutines and computation to control motion and interactions. The mod also adds a charge-energy system for powering processing machines, some socket parts and servos, with generation, transfer, measurement and storage. Its materials and crafting include galena, which can yield silver and lead in a Slag Furnace, dark iron found in bedrock craters, and diamond shards made by blasting diamond blocks with TNT. Factorization also features artifact crafting at the Artifact Forge, where two identical tools, Bottles of Potency, enchanted books and a name are combined into a powerful named tool; its enchants can be merged beyond ordinary level limits, and nearly broken artifacts can be repaired at the Hall of Legends. For more experimental creations, its Hammer engine enables arbitrary chunk movement and rotation, supporting Colossi and the Twisting Block.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.2.5 to 1.8.9.
Adds 8 blocks, 37 items and 13 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's block textures.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.2.5 to 1.8.9.
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.2.5 to 1.8.9.
The file checks found code that connects to the internet (see Security). What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

No known modpack uses it.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
